2022 Safety Poster Contest Region VIII – Southwest Tribal Housing Alliance Arizona, New Mexico, and West Texas

Students are invited to send a safety themed poster to their local housing authority to win $1,000! National winner in each category (K-3, 4-6, 7-8) receives $1,000. The theme can be any safety topic you would like. Some examples are: COVID Prevention, Cyber Bullying, who do you keep safe by staying safe during the pandemic, or any other safety topic you can think of.

February 1 – February 28, 2022
SWTHA (Region VIII) hosts the AMERIND Safety Poster Contest.  Region VIII Housing Departments send their final pick of one winner  from each category (K-3, 4-6, 7-8) to [email protected] by the deadline of February 28, 2022, for regional voting.

March 1 – March 18, 2022

Region VIII will hold online voting, at swtha.org, from the local entries in each category (K-3, 4-6, 7-8). One winner from each category is submitted to AMERIND for national voting.

April 2022
National online voting. One winner from each category is selected.

May 2022

Winners announced at AMERIND Annual Meeting

  •     On blank side of paper, create your masterpiece
