Lorrie Chavez, Executive Director with 16 years of tenant services management, is recognized throughout Indian Country as an expert in Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program management and compliance. Ms. Chavez assures program compliance in areas of tenant and household eligibility and program compliance. Ms. Chavez is a certified trainer in Pathways Homebuyer Education and Building Native Communities Financial Literacy. Ms. Chavez is an enrolled member of the Mescalero Apache Tribe.

Stacy Nieto, Capital Improvement Manager
Stacy Nieto, Capital Improvement Manager, is responsible for overseeing the overall daily workflow of all capital projects of the housing authority. While oversee project development and maintenance, Mr. Nieto ensures program compliance. Mr. Nieto has over 17 years supervising manufacturing, engineering and drafting teams, and more than nine years with hands-on experience in general construction, managing large crews, scheduling of large-scale work, project management, procurement, and construction of both stick and adobe-built new homes. has also worked as an engineer and shop foreman. As a homebuilder himself and as a contractor, Mr. Nieto has overseen construction from cement pouring to roof, and everything in between including plumbing and electrical work. An enrolled tribal member of Santo Domingo Pueblo, Mr. Nieto has considerable history with Tribal leadership, as well as elders and individuals within the tribe who will be stakeholders in the new projects, including those interested in skills training and Housing Workforce crew development.
Jonah Garcia, Financial Officer
Jonah Garcia, Financial Officer with 12 years’ experience in accounting and 10 years in Business Office administration with large and small businesses. Jonah also has experience specific to Human Resources and Senior Living communities. Jonah was born and raised in Los Lunas, New Mexico.
Margie Aguilar, Tenant Services Manager
Margie Aguilar, Tenant Services Manager, joined Santo Domingo Housing Authority in 2018 as receptionist. In the last four years Ms. Margie was promoted to Tenant Services Representative and now serves as the Tenant Services Manager. Her responsibilities included ensuring tenants are provided with accurante rental information, maintaing the client files and conducting the annual recerticiations for all tenants.
