The Housing Authority received an Indian Housing Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The grant will provide $4.5 million in funding to develop the infrastructure (wet and dry utilities, paving, etc.).

The Cottonwood Project, the first new housing development since Wa-Di, is a new subdivision of approximately 11.4 acres divided into 34 lots.
